    As a Client, would my profile undergo a review process before being able to use Bioinfexperts?

    No, the you can easily login to our site and immediately start posting a project. Once a project is displayed, you can search for suitable Bioinformaticians and invite them to apply to your task.

    What payment methods can be used?

    We use PayPal to process payments by Clients and to transfer funds to Bioinformaticians.

    PayPal is not supported in my country, how can I use Bioinfexperts?

    If you are in a country that does not support PayPal, you will not be able to use Bioinfexperts as payments cannot be facilitated.

    Can I delete a project that I have already published?

    You may withdraw any posted project at any time prior to accepting an offer from a  Bioinformatician.

    How many milestones can I divide my project to?

    You can divide your project into 5 milestones as a maximum.

    Why are milestones important?

    By dividing your project into milestones, you can easily track the work progress with a set of checklist. Moreover, your project is likely to attract more bidders as Bioinformaticians find it easier to follow the project.

    Furthermore, in case of dispute during the project, the website administration can rely on milestones’ status to determine how to resolve the money properly for Clients and Bioinformaticians.

    My project did not get any bids!

    There is no guarantee that by posting a project you will receive bids from Bioinformaticians, or that the bids you receive will be satisfactory. However you may improve your chances of receiving bids by adding a clear and sufficient description about your project and specifying project milestones.

    What currency is used in payment transactions?

    You are required to pay in the currency in which the service is listed for sale on our site, which is US dollar $.

    After accepting a bid and paying for the project, would the payment be directly transferred to the Bioinformatician?

    No, the payment received from you on acceptance of a bid will be held in Escrow by our payment service provider until completion of a project.

    Is there a maximum period for a project to be finished?

    Yes, any project or service must be completed within 45 days of the payment date.

    Can I cancel my project if already a Bioinformatician started working on it?

    Yes, you may cancel a project if:

    • The Bioinformatician has not responded to the massages within three working days of awarding the project.
    • The Bioinformatician did not deliver the work within the timescale indicated in the project description.

    • The work provided by the Bioinformatician does not meet the terms defined after at least three revisions have been provided by the Bioinformatician in response to detailed feedback from your side.

    • The Bioinformatician lost a dispute.

    When would I get my refund for a successfully closed project?

    After project cancellation, and in case of no open dispute, the amount you already payed will be refunded to your Paypal account.

    How is dispute handled?

    In the event of having to make a resolution decision, we will use only the communication in the massaging system as sole evidence, and consider:

    • If both parties are acting in good faith and have tried to resolve the issue between themselves before contacting us, including at least a second attempt made between both parties to complete or rectify the project.
    • If the project was delivered (or the milestone was met, if the dispute is for a milestone payment).
    • For disputes concerning the quality of the work delivered: We will consider whether the Bioinformatician has met general quality standards.
    • If the Client and Bioinformatician have complied with our Terms and Conditions.
    • In the event of having to make a resolution decision on behalf of the parties, we will notify both parties within seven days of the dispute. The disputed funds shall be dealt with in accordance with the resolution decision and these Terms and Conditions. Our involvement with the dispute ends once the resolution in relation to the dispute has been communicated

    How can I report a certain Bioinformatician?

    We welcome any comment or complaint about Bioinformaticians. We may act upon a complaint in our discretion, for the benefit of the body of our members. For any complains, contact us on support@bioinfexperts.com.

    As a Bioinformatician, would my profile undergo a review process before being able to use Bioinfexperts?

    Bioinfexperts is a selective member only platform and therefore we will review all Bioinformaticians Profiles prior to admitting a Bioinformatician as a member whose profile is listed on Bioinfexperts. The selection process depends on various criteria such as experience.

    Can I add contact details in my profile?

    You must not include in your profile any direct contact details, personal website or other advertising content, which allows the Client to by-pass our site to engage in a sale.

    How can I add a skill or a project category that does not exist in the predefined list?

    If there is a new skill or a project category that you need to add to your profile, contact us on support@bioinfexperts.com. If we find out that the skill or project category is unique and does not overlap with existing entries, we will add your input to our database.

    What payment methods can be used?

    If you are in a country that does not support PayPal, you will not be able to use Bioinfexperts as payments cannot be facilitated.

    When would I receive the payment for my work on a certain project?

    You will receive a payment for your services within 10 working days of project completion. We take no responsibility if these time frames are not met due to circumstances outside of our control and managed by our payment service provider PayPal.

    I finished working on a project, but the client did not mark the project as finished. When would I get the payment for the work I did?

    If a Client does not mark a project as finished upon delivery of services by you, payment will be released to you 45 days after the payment date, given no formal dispute has been raised.

    How much fees are deducted from the payment of the Client?

    Service fees are charged at 15% of the total project budget collected. . Our fees are extremely competitive and are necessary to cover payment security and all transaction fees. They also cover the cost of running and constant development of the site, as well as allowing us to offer on-going support before, during, and after working on a project.

    How is dispute handled?

    Can I quit working on a project?

    If for any serious reason you can’t continue working on a project, then don’t panic, we do have a solution for this. Just press on the discontinue button in the workspace page. You will be asked to write down a reason for your project termination.
    We do encourage though that before engaging in such a step that you discuss with the client why you can’t continue working on the project, and not just press on the discontinue button before giving the client any previous notice!

    How can I report a certain Client?
