    Afterwards you may surf through the profiles of our bioinformatics experts, contact them via private messages, and of course post any job on bioinfexperts.com and seek the help from our bioinformaticians.

    Job POSTING AND PAYMENT

    You should write a comprehensive description of the job you need completed. This description should include specific information regarding job duration and budget. From our platform, you are also able to share your project to social networks including Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ in order to grab more potential applicants.

    You can also create milestones for your project . By dividing your project into milestones, you are creating a road map for you project such that the bioinformatician who will be assigned to do the job can easily measure the project scope and follow the timeline.
    All our website financial transactions are handled through Paypal. Therefore, if you do not have a Paypal account, you will not be able to use bioinfexperts.com as payments cannot be facilitated.

    After choosing a bioinformatician to start working on your job, you will be asked to pay the project budget that you both agreed on. this money amount will be held in Escrow until project completion (or cancellation). As a client, you will not pay any amount other than the project budget.

    Milestones

    You can divide your project into 5 milestones as a maximum. By doing this, you can easily track the work progress with a set of checklist. Moreover, your project is likely to attract more bidders as bioinformaticians find it easier to follow the project.

    When a bioinformatician finishes working on a certain milestone, he/she can mark it as resolved, and you as a client can mark it afterwards as closed in case you are satisfied with the work, otherwise, you may reopen it.

    Furthermore, in case of dispute during the project, the website administration can rely on milestones’ status to determine how to resolve the money properly for clients and bioinformaticians.

    Choosing The Right Freelancer

    After submitting the job, a number of bioinformaticians will apply to your posted job by providing a bid. You may also invite specific bioinformaticians to apply for your job. You can surf the profiles of all the applicants and contact any of them via private messaging in order to better decide the best applicant to complete your job.

    Shared Workspace

    After choosing the best bioinformatician for your job, both of you can start discussions in a shared online workspace that allows you to communicate and share files whenever and wherever you are.

    Job Completion or Cancellation

    When the freelancer finishes working on the job, and you are satisfied with the output, you should mark the job as completed.

    On the other hand, as a client, you have the right to cancel your project if:

    • The bioinformatician has not responded to the massages within three working days of Awarding project.

    • The bioinformatician did not deliver the work within the timescale indicated in the project description.

    • The work provided by the bioinformatician do not meet the terms defined after at least three revisions have been provided by the bioinformatician in response to detailed feedback from your side.

    • The bioinformatician lost a dispute.

    After project cancellation, and in case of no open dispute, the amount you already payed  will be refunded to your Paypal account.

    Dispute

    In the event of having to make a resolution decision, we will use only the communication in the massaging system as sole evidence, and consider:
    a. If both parties are acting in good faith and have tried to resolve the issue between themselves before contacting us, including at least a second attempt made between both parties to complete or rectify the project.
    b. If the project was delivered (or the milestone was met, if the dispute is for a milestone payment).
    c. For disputes concerning the quality of the work delivered: We will consider whether the bioinformatician has met general quality standards.
    d. If the client and bioinformatician have complied with our Terms and Conditions.
    e. In the event of having to make a resolution decision on behalf of the parties, we will notify both parties within seven days of the Dispute. The disputed funds shall be dealt with in accordance with the resolution decision and these Terms and Conditions. Our involvement with the Dispute ends once the resolution in relation to the Dispute has been communicated

    Rating

    When a bioinformatician completes the job as per your request, and you are satisfied with the work output, spend a minute writing a good review for the bioinformatician to increase his/her chances of getting more potential jobs in the future.

    On the other hand, if there are some comments regarding the performance of the bioinformatician, spot the light on them when writing the review for the sake of encouraging the bioinformatician to improve his/her performance.

    Creating Your Profile

    Job Announcement

    Clients will seek your help by posting jobs on bioinfexperts.com. Then, it is up to you to carefully review the job descriptions, check those that best suit your expertise and interest, and then simply apply!

    When a new project with a category that matches your selected categories of interest (specified in your personal profile) is posted at bioinfexperts.com, you will receive an email notifying you about this newly posted project.

    This feature allows you to stay up-to-date with the many new projects that match your skills. However, you also have the option to turn this feature on and off in your profile page.

    How To Apply

    You should specify two things when applying to any job: your bid amount plus the time required to finish the project.

    Clients will review all the bids and check the profiles of the respective bidders. That’s why you should maintain an up-to-date profile that includes all of the important information about your expertise and interests.

    If you are chosen for the job, then congratulations!

    Shared Workspace

    In order for you to carry out discussions with the client who posted the job, we offer a private workspace for both of you to share. In this workspace, you may share files with the client. You can upload files and delete your own unnecessary files as well.

    Job Termination And Payment

    When you are ready to deliver your work, you simply send it to the client, and they will check it and, if satisfied, mark the project as completed.

    You will receive the payment for your Services within 10 working days of Project Completion. Service fees are charged at 15% of the total Project budget collected. These fees are necessary to cover payment security and all transaction fees. They also cover the cost of running and constant development of the site, as well as allowing us to offer on-going support before, during, and after your project.

    Quitting The Job

    If for any serious reason you can’t continue working on the project, then don’t panic, we do have a solution for this. Just press on the discontinue button in the workspace page. You will be asked to write down a reason for your project termination.

    We do encourage though that before engaging in such a step that you discuss with the client why you can’t continue working on the project, and not just press on the discontinue button before giving the client any previous notice!

    Dispute
